Frances Lee Ware |
In Remembrance
|
You were a teacher --
this was the first and the most visible impression you gave. You were one
whose personality did not contract into your profession, limited to the
teaching of music, but on the contrary your calling, for it was more than
an occupational pursuit, broadened and streaming into your entire being. You were a teacher,
mother, and sister, therefore yours was a poetic sensitivity to growth.
Only a teacher, mother and big sister actually sees the seedlings of the
youthful mind reaching out for the light, germinating and sprouting under
the loving touch of an inspired gardener. You were a teacher,
mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother though birth children
were not in God's plan for you. You were a teacher,
mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister and therefore you loved
your fellow man. Neither your skill nor your diligence were substituted
for the love which led you to devote yourself to 39 years of instruction
of your neighbor and your neighbor's child, as well as 45 years of devoted
upbringing of your sister's children, grandchildren and
great-grandchildren. Your existence on this
earth will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved you forever. Funeral Services for Mrs.
Frances Lee Ware of Denison will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, February 23,
2002 at Haven Chapel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Eddie Jean
Adams officiating. Burial will be in Cedarlawn Memorial Park under the
direction of Smith Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Ware was born in
Denison, the first-born child of Frank and Stella Joshua Lee. She was

State University, University of Dallas and Grayson County College. She
taught music, language arts, and art in the Denison Independent School
District at Terrell Elementary, Central Ward Elementary and Golden Rule
