Dornal ‘Duck’ Moore DENISON — Dornal “Duck” Moore, age 60, formerly of Denison, died Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2007 at his Dallas home. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 24 in the Carrie White Chapel at Angelic Mortuary in Sherman. Officiating will be the Rev. Micheal Braxton, pastor of Bethel Community Baptist Church in Denison. Burial, will full military honors, will follow in the Veterans Section at West Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Moore was born on Nov. 6, 1946, in Denison, Texas, son of John D. and Zealer M. Moore Sr. He attended public schools in Denison and Clarksville. He was a U.S. Navy veteran.

Pallbearers will be nephews.

Surviving are his brothers, Charles Moore Sr. of Sherman, Joe W. Moore of Augusta, Ga., Leaodus Moore and Andrew Moore, both of Sherman; sisters, Edna Moore and Annie L. Evans, both of Denison, Lela Moore of Sherman, Juanita Hughes of Denver, Colo., Joice Shindler of Chandler, Texas and Joella Duffie of Denison; uncle, LaFerne Garland of New Orleans, La.; aunt, Rogean Wooten of Phoenix, Ariz.; 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

The family will be at the funeral chapel from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday.
